Two state-of-the-art automation applications were presented at our booth.
The first application concerned machine feeding in combination with the Pick & Place application. The Cobot performed a 10-movement cycle that included opening & closing the machine door, picking up and placing the treated and untreated parts, and rotating the Grip for quick motion changes.
The second application concerned the field of welding. The KR Cobot having 7 axes of movement and rotation has a comparative advantage compared to 6 axes and is capable of reaching gluing dead spots for a wide range of motion. Netelco SA always driven by the passion for automation and modernization knowing the special requirements of welding especially for long welding lengths offers Seam Tracking Laser Sensor technology making KR Cobots able to cope with any welding application offering the perfect result.
Collaborative robots are going to play a key evolutionary factor in the automation of every industrial production in the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution we are going through. They are able to work alongside the workforce freeing them from standard manual movements leaving them space to engage in higher value added work on the final product.
